Howard the Duck is in Avengers: Endgame, for just a brief moment. It’s a hard scene to catch, somewhat of a cameo situation quite honestly. That being said, you can see him in the photo below and I’ll go over this segment. A later scene in the movie for context.
This is during the big portal reveal when the Avengers Assemble against Thanos and his armies. This portion is during the moment where Wasp is front and center for her reveal. If you glance to the right of her, and look between a couple soldiers you’ll see our grand old cameo appearing friend, Howard the Duck.
He’s low to the ground, and equipped with a gun as he’s ready to fight for the good guys apparently. While he doesn’t say anything here, he’s usually voiced by Seth Green in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s previously appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume one and two in small scenes. All of these teases will hopefully lead to this character getting another shot. You have to remember that the character was one of the first Marvel heroes to reach the big screen.
There was a certainly distinct film in 1986 titled “Howard the Duck”. It didn’t do well, being voiced by Chip Zien and portrayed by Ed Gale there. A colorful character, a duck with a strange back story and one wild attitude.
