It looks like what Strange noted was right, this is how the Marvel Cinematic Universe wraps up for now and that is of course with Avengers: Endgame. This is the last film from the main team that continues directly after the events of Infinity War. After everything went to dust, it'll take a bunch of sad folks coming together one last time to make it right.
The general Avengers: Endgame trailer analyzed below including a series of stills from the first primary trailer for the film. This should be an interesting reveal with some neat secrets hidden throughout. The photos are found below with details on each of them and the characters present. There could be spoilers or this trailer could contain content not in the final film like the last one did. You can view our MCU hub below for further coverage and check out the review of Avengers: Infinity War at the bottom.
This is the perfect shot to start with, Tony Stark has gone full circle to being left with nothing but a box of scraps. He records a message while onboard what appears to be the Benatar (ship from the Guardians team).
Also, he has no food or water, or air and things are grim. He mentions Rescue which may be how he's saved, Rescue is Pepper's suited character (Iron Man-like). It could also be Captain Marvel that finds him, or Rocket with Pepper. I'd say a Stan Lee Watcher show-up would be awesome, we'll see.
I'm sure this will be a meme, sad Captain America or something like that for sure. It's probably quite painful to see this iconic character reduced to tears under his perceived failure to stop Thanos.
Another sad shot, this time with Bruce Banner going over the missing/lost members of their team that he basically just met. The first image shown is Scott Lang (Ant-Man) which is shown returning later in the trailer. Beside that is Shuri who is either snapped or missing. She was previously thought to still be alive post-snap.
Yet another character moping around, Thor has truly lost it all. His eye; trusty weapon, father, mother, brother, best friend, half the people of Asgard and now the battle against Thanos. There's not much left for him to really keep it together. Looks like Ben Affleck after hearing about the Batman v Superman reviews.
Nebula is with Tony Stark on the Benatar, believe that's who she puts her hand on shoulder wise to comfort.
Hawkeye has become Ronin and he's not happy. He's gone to Japan as a rogue and is pissed. He meets Black Widow there, presumably for the first time in a long time.
This is Scott Lang (Ant-Man) at the end, he's got the van from the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp when he vanished. This van could be how they travel through time or dimensions to fix the snap. He's most likely to meet up with Captain America, Black Widow and Bruce Banner.
