Captain Marvel Trailer Analyzed

It's almost time to see another powerful hero enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that is of course with Captain Marvel. This is the last film prior to Avengers: Infinity War's follow-up. This is a time piece being set in the '90s following Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she becomes a powerful character within the franchise.

The general Captain Marvel trailer analyzed below including a series of stills with one from Disney and then others taken from the second primary trailer for the film. This should be an interesting reveal with some neat secrets hidden throughout. The photos are found below with details on each of them and the characters present. This is a great group shot as you see Carol Danvers' team walking near Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy. Beside him is her mentor Mar-Vell (Jude Law). There's definitely some interaction here and it's a good way to see what everyone is equipped with.


This is her regular old school pre-hero mohawk suit with some powerful bursts being shot out.


While in civilian gear Carol and Nick Fury (de-aged) are overlooking a hangar. If you look closely you might notice that some of the planes look rather familiar/inspirational for future designs. Its here she understands more about past knowledge she has.

This is just a rather awesome shot of Ronan looking out into space as a battle wages on and Captain Marvel zipping right through the ships destroying them. This could be one of the late battle scenes in the film.


This guy is just always the intense, usually evil business person. This is Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), one of the most feared and respected of Skrull warriors within the Empire. He historically doesn't have the shape shifting ability his people do, but has been granted special extra high levels of strength instead.

Is this the mystical friendly cat of her Chewie? Is it the magical Flerken, we'll have to see. They have strange mystical abilities if so.
