As of January 24, 2018 all Command & Conquer games are Xbox Backwards Compatible making them available for Xbox One consoles. This brings every single release from the EA rts franchise on Xbox 360 forward to the latest console. Any title that released on Xbox 360 from the strategic series is carried forward whether they were digital or disc based. None of the titles were only digitally released. The complete list of games follows; Command & Conquer 3; Command & Conquer 3 Commander’s Challenge, Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars.

The games were all available on the same day which is rather wild. This is great as players can revisit any of the past titles in their original format with the benefits of increased performance from modern consoles going forward. This delivers the true real time strategy of the console, bringing the epic titles all on one day. Whatever the case, any of these games can be enjoyed on Xbox One making it possible to play the entire core franchise on the platform. Xbox Backwards Compatibility sure has been great and it's a fantastic way to introduce these classic titles to new players.
