As of July 3, 2018 all Assassin's Creed games are Xbox Backwards Compatible making them available for Xbox One consoles. This brings every single release from the Ubisoft franchise on Xbox 360 forward to the latest console. Any title that released on Xbox 360 from the Creed series is carried forward and that even includes the duplicates. In regards to duplicates that means the game also released on the current platform as either a fresh release or a remaster. The complete list of games follows; Assassin's Creed; Two, Liberation HD, Brotherhood, Revelations, Three, Black Flag and Rogue.
The last of the grouping to join was Liberation HD and it actually didn't take too long to get all of the games. This is great as players can revisit any of the past titles in their original format with many being remastered as well if they'd like to more out of the games. Whatever the case, any of these games can be enjoyed on Xbox One making it possible to play the entire core franchise on the platform. Xbox Backwards Compatibility sure has been great and it's a fantastic way to introduce these classic titles to new players.
