Ashen Release Date Revealed

The Ashen release date has been revealed as December 7, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. This was shown on the Xbox Store as it accidently revealed the page as one of the main highlighted tabs. It's noted to be a two player cooperative experience with online multiplayer. The install size was also noted as being 6.61 GB and it is unknown if that will be reflected on PC as well. This game is being published by Annapurna Interactive and developed by Aurora44.

It has been a long awaited release for the platform having been shown many years back during E3 and consistently teased recently as releasing prior to 2019. That date having been kept hidden until now. It is most likely a "The Game Awards" reveal that accidently showed up in the store ahead of time. This is a tougher experience with slower combat and a minimalistic style. You work through hub type areas battling various enemies, solving puzzles and exploring a chilling world. There are secrets to find, unique locations to visit and many tools to use along the way. Be sure to read our recent thoughts on Ashen from E3 2018 below or the hubs for additional coverage.
