Ashen Release Date Won't be Announced at X018

The Ashen release date won't be announced at X018 according to an individual from the Annapurna Interactive team. This was noted on Reddit within a thread inquiring about Ashen Xbox One's launch or possible appearance at the X018 event. The response directly was "I can definitely say it won't be announced at XO. It's coming before the year wraps up, though. ;)" The game is however noted as having a demo available at the event for those that want to try it out. The game has been long awaited since it's E3 reveal many years back with a number of delays being present.

It's set to release on Xbox One consoles while being Xbox One X enhanced for a 4k resolution with no HDR support by the end of 2018. It's also a Xbox Play Anywhere title and with these extra features, as a well as a coop focus it has been a title many have watched closely for. Whatever the case, looks we won't be seeing a release date announced at X018 which means it could be a stealth release at that time or it'll come later. For now, it's best to wait and see what the event has in store for gamers. If you're looking for more details on this read out Ashen E3 2018 preview below.
