The return of the third entry in the franchise is to be upgraded as the Assassin's Creed III Remastered Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "In Development" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since the previous titles from the group have been enhanced as they release. Furthermore, that Ubisoft has been very supportive of enhancing their new releases. For now we have basic details as its "In Development" with support for a 4k resolution with HDR support. Other improvements include enhancements to the general mechanics; higher resolution textures, new character models and an improved lighting rendering system. There's also physically based rendering, denser crowds, denser environments and denser VFX. With this release it's also unlikely to support VRR.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Assassin's Creed III Remastered follows Connor, the master assassin born of the beauty and the brutality of 18th century America. This takes place during the American Civil War and you'll be thrown right into the historic action. This is a decades long quest to restore freedom after a devastating event occurs that shatters Connor's reality. There's a mystery group trying to control the colonies and you must stop this from happening. The Assassin's Creed III Remastered Xbox One X enhanced releases on March 29, 2019 on Xbox One platforms. This pack also contains digital content such as Benedict Arnold Missions; Hidden Secrets Pack and Tyranny of King Washington (all episodes: The Infamy, The Betrayal, The Redemption).
