This fresh spin-off of Ark: Survival Evolved is to be upgraded as the Atlas Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Available Now" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since so many titles are starting to see support, especially within the genre.
This especially isn’t surprising as Ark also has upgrades. For now we have full details from the developers as its "Available Now” with support for a 1080p resolution with HDR support. It features long range dynamic shadows, better looking and dynamic “TrueSky” inclusion as well. The textures feature a higher resolution, and there’s a longer draw distance present in this. It should be noted these features are absent on base Xbox One consoles, where that features 720p as a resolution. There is no support for VRR in this.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. It released as a Xbox Game Preview title, with cross-play between Xbox and PC players. For context, Atlas is a sort of spin-off from Ark. It takes the basic setup from that game, and presents a fantasy pirate style environment.
Sail the seven seas, craft unique structures and boat while also battling creatures. It’s a vast world of over seven hundred individual landmasses across 45,000 square kilometers. Discover unique points of interest, distinct regions and many dangers that are lurking out there. Gather resources, craft and then thrive whether you’re alone or with others. The Atlas Xbox One X enhanced released in late 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
