Avengers: Endgame Canadian Box Office Opening Weekend

The final numbers have been revealed from Disney in regards to the Avengers: Endgame Canadian box office opening weekend. The film has taken the top spot at 28.9 MM confirmed by Disney Canada. This passes the previous movie, Avengers: Infinity War that took in 19.7 MM. The country represented 8.2% of the total North American box office and set other records. It had the biggest opening/single day of all time in Canada on Thursday and Friday.

It had the biggest Saturday gross of all time in Canada it was the top advance pre-seller of all time in the country. The movie absolutely dominated the local market and as stated above, set a number of records. For additional context, the third top all time movie in the country is Star Wars: The Force Awakens at 18.6 MM followed by Star Wars: The Last Jedi at 17.2 MM and finally Marvel’s The Avengers at 15.6 MM at the fifth spot.
