Borderlands 3 Almost 8 Million Sales

The latest entry in the franchise has been selling well. Borderlands 3 has almost sold eight million units worldwide. This is up around three million units since the initial five million that were sold in its first week of release.

Take Two is likely pleased with the numbers, as it has healthy units being shipped out past its release during fall 2019. This source information which is linked below is attributed to “Daniel Ahmad”; a Senior Analyst at Niko Partners.

These numbers likely point to additional releases down the road with an expansion of the franchise. This does not include any profit notes, or how the DLC aspect has factored in since the first expansion did release recently.
