Borderlands 3 Xbox One X Enhanced

April 5, 2019 at 7:56pm

The third main entry in this cooperative shooter RPG series is to be upgraded as the Borderlands 3 Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "In Development" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since so many titles are starting to see support, especially within the genre. This especially isn’t surprising as every other game in the franchise was enhanced at once. For now we have basic details as its "In Development" with support for a 4k resolution and HDR support. Support for two player splitscreen and seamless four players online multiplayer with potential cross-play. There will also be VRR enabled with this release.

The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Borderlands 3 starts on Pandora many years after the last main entry concluded. There’s a brand new squad of vault hunters and things are about to get expanded upon. The core crew also returns, seeing aged versions of the characters and it’s about to get wild. There are more guns, larger worlds and all the insane action you’d expect from this franchise. The Borderlands 3 Xbox One X enhanced releases on September 13, 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
