The interesting spin-off entry in the franchise is to be upgraded as the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Now Available" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since the previous titles from the group have been enhanced at the same time. Furthermore, that 2k has been very supportive of enhancing their new releases. For now we have basic details as its "Now Available" with support for a 4k resolution at 60fps with HDR support. With this release it's also unlikely to support VRR.
The game has been enhanced at the same time as the others titles, many years after release. It should be noted that this is part of the Handsome Collection, not the Xbox 360 version. For context, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is the prequel to the sequel entry in the series. It follows Handsome Jack going from a great person with ambitions, to one that is like we know in the second main game. It follows yet another new group of vault hunters that are spread out on the moon of Pandora. The Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Xbox One X enhanced released on April 5, 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
