One of the staples in Black Ops franchise within Call of Duty has been the use of Nuketown. You just can't ever escape that map whether you're playing multiplayer or in the zombies. It seems that for the latter option, that we might see another take on that. A rather disgruntled past employee on the project has noted that "Nuketown Zombies is 100% happening but no date for when." This should be taken as not being perhaps a hundred percent true, but there has been some validation for the individual so the source may be a solid one. Again, it may be false as only one side of the story has been presented. The username is "CallOfNobodyCares" and he was a QA tester on the Zombies team at Treyarch.
With that aside, it's interesting and perhaps not unreasonable to assume this map would return. It has been showcased in many of the games and it is certainly a fan favorite. I thought this might be a likely bit of news so I thought I'd compile something to note it for fans of this map that have been looking towards it returning. This might arrive as a DLC map within one of the additional map pack releases that usually have a zombies level or perhaps it'll be an extra. That's it for now, not many details on whether it'll have been remastered or not. Keep in mind that it does exist within the Blackout map so it makes sense to re-use those textures.
