The full details have been revealed for the latest selection of content that’s headed to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is of course season two which features new maps, additional modes, weapons and a returning favorite operator.
The Modern Warfare season two release date is February 11, 2020. It contains two regular maps including the return of Rust and Atlas Superstore. Ground War features the Zhokov Boneyard as a new map. Gunfight maps include Bazaar and a variant on Rust among other additions not noted.
New multiplayer modes are Gunfight Tournaments and a CDL Playlist. The new operator is Ghost returning. The weapons added are the Grau 5.56 and the Striker 45. The fun doesn’t stop there however, as additional content is being released in the following weeks of the second season. This includes a new map called Khandor Hideout. There are two more operators called Talon and Mace.
Additional modes include Infected Ground War, Gunfight Variants, NVG Reinforce and more teased with a crown icon. A classified weapon is also teased.
