Infinity Ward is set to reboot their premier series in the franchise and it is to be upgraded as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Available Now" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since so many titles are starting to see support, especially within the genre.
This especially isn’t surprising as many Activison titles also have upgrades. For now we have full details from the developers as its "Available Now” with support for a native 4k resolution with a dynamic resolution feature. It runs at 60fps with HDR support as a larger scale shooter at times. There is no support for VRR in this.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a rebooted take on this iconic series from Infinity Ward. It takes you into the harsh landscapes of today’s conflicts as you battle from multiple perspectives. It largely follows the journey of a freedom fighter with flashbacks, and that’s just the single player narrative.
The multiplayer element is expanded with Special Ops for cooperative action and of course competitive play. There’s intense regular multiplayer with returning modes, and the larger than ever Groundwar game type. Play with two play local multiplayer splitscreen and take the fight online in massive cross-play matches. The post-launch DLC is free, and this is set to be one expansive title. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Xbox One X enhanced released in late 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
