Cineplex Chinook Theatre 4DX Auditorium Now Open

As part of the overhaul for the various auditoriams within the Calgary Cineplex Chinook location, a 4DX Auditorium has now been completed and is open. The debut film is the Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. With this special theatrical experience you can feel the benefits of special effects including motion-synchronized seats, wind, fog, rain, lightning, snow, bubbles, vibration and scents.

This is from CJ 4DPLEX and this is part of the continued expansion of the improved auditorium options at Cineplex theaters across Canada. Their current goal is to hit thirteen additional locations within Canada over the coming years.

The following quote was provided about this addition. "Our 4DX auditorium in Toronto has been a hugely popular option for guests and we are so excited to introduce the experience to Calgary movie-lovers," said Kevin Watts, Senior Vice President, Exhibition and Theatre Operations.

This new option for viewing movies within Calgary will deliver a cutting edge, multi-sensory experience that’s offered nowhere else in the city.
