The Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR release date and pricing details have been revealed for this spin-off dive into the well known movie franchise. The title will be launching on April 3, 2018 for Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive priced at $14.99. This first person action based virtual reality experience is set in-between the events of Rise and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes movies. Five years since its outbreak, the Simian Flu has wiped out half of humanity and you've been held captive as the humans search for a cure.

Your goal is to escape this facility by shooting, jumping and swinging your way home. This should be an interesting and interactive way to display a fresh narrative within the recent movie universe. The game will be entirely focused on a VR presentation whether you're on the Playstation 4 or a PC platform. They want to put you right into the situation of these apes and give a distinctly new look at this franchise.
