Update: Confirmed to be Crysis Remastered available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2020. It would seem that a brand new Crysis game has been teased, or at least something based on the franchise. The official site has been updated featuring just a short five second clip that keeps on playing. It features a rather iconic looking character standing there, in what appears to be a plane cargo hold.

There’s not a whole lot to go off of, and keep in mind that this was released on April 1, 2020 which is April Fool’s day. That aside it could be teasing a remaster, a new entry or even a battle royale title. I mentioned the last of that list since the genre is so popular and the location of the character.

I did grab some meta info from the website. The description is as follows; “From the makers of Far Cry, Crysis offers FPS fans the best-looking, most highly-evolving & innovative gameplay, requiring the player to use adaptive tactics to survive.” The keywords are “Crysis, FPS, Crytek, Video game, April Fool, launch”.

It could be a tease, or perhaps not. The site is owned by “Mesh Digital Limited” via the WHOIS Database and the url is "". That’s all the information that’s currently available for what this might exactly be. All fans can do is speculate and wait to see if anything might be happening with this game down the road.

It is a well loved series and certainly one that still gets mentioned a fair bit in casual gaming conversation. Check out more game hubs for coverage below, or read our review of the latest battle royale experience from Call of Duty with Warzone.
