Cuphead Hits Five Million Sales

The very popular Cuphead has now hit five million sales. As they’ve noted via Twitter (link below), they have “gone five-times platinum”. That’s quite amazing, and a stellar milestone for the hardcore platformer. At the current point in time it’s available on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC and Nintendo Switch platforms. This is a lovely title that’s very intense and difficult.

It’s meant for two player local coop as a boss brawling sort of situation. There are smaller levels in-between, but most of the action is focused on eliminating boss enemies throughout the story. There’s a truly unique visual style to the game that brings back the aesthetics of ancient cartoons, with some amazing jazz tunes in the background.
