DayZ will be getting a special DLC release for 2019. This is a paid DLC that isn’t part of their new Survivor GameZ addition that’s being tested over the summer. This will be a release for the standalone version of the game. A key element has been mentioned, that ”no previously promised features will be hidden behind a paywall”. That statement was from the Community Manager for DayZ. It is also noted that this won’t be Namalsk. That aside, some additional teases were mentioned in that it might be a fresh landmass, or additional area that players will be able to visit that’s separate from the existing experience.

No other official details have been provided as to what to expect when this does arrive. It is expected to be available before the end of the year, 2019. More information will likely be provided closer to the release window, with the team currently working on various enhancements to the core stability, and mechanics of the title. For now, read our thoughts on the game for the Xbox One platform or view the DayZ Hub for other details about the general game of zombies.
