DayZ Xbox One Bow and Arrow Confirmed

The DayZ Xbox One Bow and Arrow confirmed as a feature being brought to the game. This will allow players to use another method for combat that's more stealth based. This is also something that's natural to produce as opposed to being found in the world and significantly quieter than a gun. It would seem that the developers are still focused on bringing this tool to the game. This is mentioned by an inquiry to whether a bow would be available in the future. The developers responded on Twitter with "Yes, we still plan to have them."

This basically confirms that they're at least something planned for the future. I added the arrows part as you need to shoot something from your bow, otherwise they're just a stick of wood that's bent with a string. No other information has been presented, but this will most likely just appear within the game on some random day. Features like this are rarely announced in advance for the title. It’ll follow a release from the PC build which gets experimental builds prior to them heading over to Xbox One.
