DayZ Xbox One Patch Notes August 7th, 2019

The DayZ Xbox One Patch Notes for August 7th, 2019 have been revealed with a number of fixes and tweaks to the experience. This is of course the console version of the massive open world zombie survival game. Players battle against each other and zombies in a large persistent world. The patch notes can be found below, note that things tend to change over time. Restarting the game/console may be necessary and an update will need to be applied.

The DayZ Xbox One Patch Notes:
This is the 1.04 post-launch update.

New Firearms
VSS
-Selective-fire, integrally suppressed marksmen rifle, fed from a detachable magazine. Compatible with KA scopes, using 9x39mm rounds.

KA-74
-The KA-74 is a selective-fire assault rifle, fed from a detachable magazine. It was introduced in the 1970s, as the replacement of the KA-M with compatible attachments. It uses 5.45x39mm rounds.

KA-101
-The KA-101 is a selective-fire assault rifle, fed from a detachable magazine. This is an export version of the modernized KA-74M with compatible attachments. It uses 5.56x45mm rounds.

New and Improved Weapon Attachments
-Regular and armour-piercing 9x39mm ammunition for the VSS
-Tracer variants for 5.56x45mm, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x54mmR and .308WIN
-Baraka sights
-Backup Iron Sights (BUIS)
-PSO-1-1 Scope, designed for the VSS rifle
-Bayonets for KA, M4-A1, Mosin 91/30 and SK 59/66

New Vehicles
Gunter 2
-The Gunter 2 is a small first generation family hatchback with front wheel drive.

Clothing
-New belt, able to carry a knife sheath, gun holster, and canteen.
-The Universal Flashlight and the new night vision goggles can be attached to the Tactical Helmet
-Chemlights and the Handheld Transceiver can now be attached to most backpack stripes

Infected
-Infected can now spawn with headgear and other attachments

Combat Features
-Melee attack with firearms, knocking enemies back - press 'X'(Xbox)/'Square'(PS4) with a raised gun
-Ability to break open locked doors with force
-Players can now throw items - double tab 'X'(Xbox) or 'Square'(PS4) to activate the throwing stance

Medical Additions
-Fever
-Effects and balancing for Epinephrine, Codeine Pills, Morphine, and Charcoal Tablets
-Shoes gradually wear off while using
-Check Pulse action now displays blood pressure and pulse type if irregular

Inventory
-Independent shoulders allow you to carry two melee weapons or firearms

Server Hopper Mitigation
-To avoid players switching servers rapidly to farm the same hotspots multiple times, we've implemented a mitigation that will reset your characters position to a random spawn at the coast when you decide to switch your server. You will receive a warning about that during your login-time.

Known Issues
-NVGs and helmet lights cannot be switched on
-Swapping items between your hands and the inventory of a corpse can result in items being stuck in the corpse's inventory.
-Opening the Online Tab in the "You are dead" screen gets the game stuck.

-Sliding down a ladder without gloves (or ruined gloves) can cause a bleeding source, gloves receive damage
-Music in the Main Menu
-Vomit emote/gesture
-Mitigation of so-called server hopping on public hives (when a player changes server, a hopping spawn point is used instead of the last log off position)
-Support for multiple sets of player spawn points (only for public hives, currently fresh and hop sets available)
-Fever now causes dehydration
-Epinephrine restores the patients' stamina to its max value
-Codeine Pills mitigate the patients' injured state for a limited time
-Morphine suppresses the patients' injured state for a limited time
-Charcoal Tablets can eliminate Salmonella bacteria
-Check Pulse action now displays the blood pressure and pulse type if irregular
-Stamina is depleted if a player is hit by a Flashbang
-Shoes gradually wear off while using
-Infected sometimes spawn with headgear, vests, and backpacks
-Flare effect around the Road Flare

Fixed
-Duplicated items after joining friends online session
-Player gets stuck in server browser after hosting Play Together while Game turned off
-Client crash when player logs out of PS4 and then logs back in
-Seats aren't adjustable from within the car
-Hair clipping with headgear
-Jammed weapons still created gun shots for other players
-ClockHour and clockMinute animation sources now synchronize with the accelerated time
-Breath vapor should now properly handle temperatures lower than its lower range threshold
-Torch displaying "pieces" as quantity
-Universal Light and Pistol Light, Road Flare and flashlight now face forward when dropped, not sideways
-Infected can attack player through walls
-Car/Truck battery were invisible when attached to Battery Charger
-Player could not drink from pumps with item in hands
-Weapons barrel hiding while using optics
-Headlights could not be detached
-Rangefinder displayed incorrect distance
-Barbed Wire was not visible on Fence after mounting
-Player could jump with heavy items in hands
-It was not possible to loot dead body in car
-There was no sound when mounting the barbed wire with pliers
-Character could not perform actions after a magazine was detached from a weapon
-AI herds were not releasing the territory after the last member of the herd died (could prevent AI herds from re-spawning on smaller terrains with a lower number of territories)
-Incorrect visual state of the speedometer
-Liquid contents of the barrel do not persist upon server restart
-Character started to float in some sections of small rivers
-Punching walls was emitting unsuitable bullet impact particles
-Spotlight had a hole where the reflector part should be
-Opening/Closing of car doors was missing sounds
-Character stamina did not replenish correctly when reduced by the gear
-Action to eat pumpkin slices was missing
-Missing footsteps sound while strafing with a heavy item in hands
-Gas Stations can be blown up again
-Combination locks couldn't be opened upon server restart

Tweaked
-Ladders on deer stands should be easier to get on
-Improved Road Flare particles
-Torch no longer illuminates the world during daytime
-Muzzle flash illumination range at night increased from 5m to 15m
-Improved variability of the muzzle flash particle for the VSD and LAR rifles
-Improved visibility of the blood splatter particle
-Smoke particles on weapons
-Decreased lethal radius of the landmines
-Unified unlocking behavior for house doors (using Lock pick or brute force) changed
-Inventory icons for bladed weapons, food and drinks
-Projectiles damage
-Land Mine activation/explosion sounds
-Jumping is disabled when a player is significantly injured, changed
-The output of sawing planks from Lumber Pile is now triple
-Reversing with a car now subtly illuminates the area behind it, allowing drivers to see there at night
-The connection timer is now up to 95 seconds in case of rapid server hopping. In connection to this change, the previous database locks have been removed
-Player spawn logic for avoiding water surfaces
-Gunshot sounds are audible up to 3.5 km
-Improved plaster and concrete impact particle effects
-Bullet impact effects are scaled by impact force much more visible now
-The Portable Gas Lamp now burns 10x longer (~55 minutes with the smallest container, ~133 with the largest one)
-Optimized muzzle flash particles for CR-61, FX-45, CR-75, IJ-70

These adjustments should help players with survival as its already hard enough dealing with the undead and any bandits that might be out there roaming around the desolate country landscape.
