The latest chapter in Dead by Daylight will feature Silent Hill. That’s right, in a partnership with Konami, the team will be releasing an entire DLC release based on this well loved gaming property. Behaviour Interactive representatives noted that they’re “really excited to be able to do this” and that this is a “dream come true”. It will feature a brand new killer, a new map and a new survivor as well.
As usual, purchase is not required to engage with some of the content. The map will be very closely based on the Midwich Elementary School. It’ll be a new layout design for Dead by Daylight with a two floor interior location that also has an exterior segment in the middle. Since this is based on the game, they tried to recreate the level.
The killer will be the Pyramid Head, well the original version. The survivor will be the third game’s protagonist Cheryl Mason with a costume option to transform into Lisa Garland from the first game in the series. This partnership is also special in that it will allow special cosmetic options that licenses such as Freddy wouldn’t allow.
This will be available on all versions of the game including Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will eventually come to Mobile down the road too. It has a release date set for late June 2020. Read our review of the recent chapter below, or the general hub for additional coverage.
