Some Dead Island 2 gameplay has leaked from what’s noted as a build from June 19, 2015. This is a game that’s been in development for a very long time, and it’s interesting to see some of it in actual action. This is also a title that has been passed around a few times between development studios. According to the timeline of creation, Yager would have been handling the title at the time this build is noted as being from.

Currently, Dambuster Studios which is an internal studio of Deep Silver is working on whatever it has become at this point. If the game does ever release it was slotted for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC platform. It is likely to be moved over to the next generation of consoles including Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 at this point.

It is supposed to be another open world entry, taking place in Los Angeles, San Francisco and an undisclosed third Californian location. Anyways, this footage comes from Youtuber “BetaDepot”. The video showcases some movement along a beach area with a number of zombies. Assets are incomplete, but the zombies are looking fine and gruesome.

It also showcases some strange weapons, neat tools and distinct mechanics. There is also some funny placeholder characters within what should be a hub of operations. It’s definitely interesting, that’s for sure. Read our review of the Definitive Collection below, or check out the general zombie based hub for further coverage.
