The second entry in this freshly rebooted series in the franchise is to be upgraded as the DOOM Eternal Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "In Development" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since so many titles have support for the upgrade at this point, especially within the genre.
This particularly isn’t surprising as many Bethesda titles also have upgrades. At this point we now have full details from the developers with the game having support for a dynamic 4k resolution that up-samples from 1800p. It runs at 60fps with HDR support across the experience. There is no support for VRR in this.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, DOOM Eternal is developed by id Software and published by Bethesda. In this entry Hell’s armies have invaded Earth.
You’ll have to once again become the ultimate Slayer in an epic single player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions essentially. Those demons don’t really fear anything, aside from you. Aside from single player content, there’s also a multiplayer for up to three players. It’s a change-up of the action with Slayers battling against some rather intense monsters. The DOOM Eternal Xbox One X enhanced releases in March 20, 2020 on Xbox One platforms.
