While the enchanting show has been cancelled, the Evil Dead carries on as a game. This will be a brand new title for both console and PC platforms. It will however not be available or built for VR (virtual reality) devices. This comes directly from the main face of the franchise, Bruce Campbell who plays Ash in the series.
He’s the only person going over the game thus far, and a key point for information on this upcoming title. He mentions this particular posting of information being some clarification to make sure everyone knows what’s up. You can see the Tweet linked below, or included verbatim.
The Tweet details from the official handle of @GroovyBruce ;”Hey, groovy gamers, this is a swell time to clarify some incorrect info that might be out there (including from me!): the upcoming Evil Dead video game is being developed for consoles and PC, not VR. Sorry for any confusion. Game on! #MyBoomstickIsTooBigForVR #EvilDeadTheGame”
