With a surprise announcement this spin-off is to be upgraded as the Far Cry: New Dawn Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Now Available" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since the previous entries have been recently enhanced. Furthermore, that Ubisoft has been very supportive of enhancing their new releases. For now we have basic details as its "Now Available" with support for a 4k resolution at 30fps and HDR support. With this release it's also unlikely to support VRR.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Far Cry: New Dawn is a spin-off of the fifth main line entry. It takes that world and turns it into a colorful and wacky apocalyptic world. Battle against this new threat that's headlined by a pair of deadly twins. Collect a crew as you hire folks, battle with different weapons and get creative as you take on your enemy head on. Be prepared to venture to Hope County, Montana, 17 years after the global nuclear catastrophe. There's also two player coop. The Far Cry: New Dawn Xbox One X enhanced releases on February 15, 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
