Final Fantasy XIII Xbox One X Enhanced

With a somewhat surprising X018 announcement for the Xbox Backwards Compatible program this is upgraded as the Final Fantasy XIII Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Available Now" for an enhancement and that is rather impressive as few Xbox 360 games have been upgraded. It is less surprising than it could be however as Square Enix has been supporting the visual upgrades For now we have the full details as its "Available Now" with support for a native 4k resolution at 9x the pixel count and no HDR support. One unique aspect of this update is that they've included new high resolution cutscenes into the game.

The game will be enhanced right upon backwards compatible launch as opposed to post. For context, Final Fantasy XIII is the first aspect of three releases with this naming scheme. XIII-2 and Lightning Returns are the other two releases that follow this one. The game is set within the Gran Pulse, a large scale world with great history to it. You're able to battle freely with enemies that can be found across battlefields. Combat is set in groups of up to three with it being an active battle formula for dynamic moments throughout this lengthy experience. The Final Fantasy XIII Xbox One X enhanced releases on November 13, 2018 on Xbox One platforms.
