Fortnite Sued Over Dances

It looks as though everyone is jumping in on the success of the free to play battle royale title as Fortnite has been sued over various dances. You're getting a number of individuals such as the Backpack Kid, Alfonso Ribiero and 2 Milly going against Epic Games for their use of the various signature moves within the game. The ever so popular free to play title has been raking in the cash and offering a wide variety of dances as general moves while also adding in extras available as microtransactions or within their other premium purchased options.

The publisher/studio has apparently not used permission for the various dances and since the game has become more popular, the artists have heard of the dance usages and decided to take action. This is a common occurrence when certain media gains viewers, fame and profits with many wanting to jump in on the cash flow. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out and whether it'll change the dance situation within the game.
