Gears of War 4 Early 2019 Events & Challenges

Gears of War 4 is continuing to get a series of interesting activities which will help lead fans towards the release of Gears 5. The next batch of events and challenges for the game have been revealed, covering early 2019. These special moments have been detailed until the first part of March, I'd expect more to follow throughout the year.

It should be noted that special XP events, gear packs and other special activities will be regularly returning during this period as well. A final note before diving into what to expect, is that a new Ranked 2v2 Gnasher map, Foundation Mid will be entering rotation in Ranked Season 6 and is now available for private/custom matches.

The Events
Classic Golden Gear (Click to Read About)
-This will run until February 12th, an unlockable character for gaining 150,000 score.

4XP Escalation + Core
-Gain those levels and wings faster with 4x the XP during this period of time starting January 30th.

Ranked Season 6
-New season, fresh ranking starts and Foundation Mid for 2v2 Gnashers which starts February 12th.

Valentine's Event
-Starting February 12th the hearts return for what is most likely Torque Bow tag with hearts. This is when challenges start for Midnight Omen, Flaming Weapon Skins and Heartbeat Weapon Skins.

Classic OSOK Event
-Starting February 22nd get ready for One Shot, One Kill to return. The previous challenges continue with this event.

Horde Variants in Private
-Prepare for more variations in Horde private matches starting early March.

St Patrick's Event
-Get ready to feel lucky again starting on March 8th.
