Gears 5 Xbox One X Enhanced

This latest entry in the large exclusive will be push tech once more as the Gears 5 Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "in development" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising considering the other releases. Furthermore, that this is a primary exclusive to showcase what the platform can do. For now we have basic details as it's "in development" with support for 4k resolution and HDR. With this release it's also likely to support VRR.

The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Gears 5 is the fifth main entry in the franchise dropping "of War" from the title. This story will more closely follow Kait as she deals with the haunting of her mother and possible heritage. Time has passed and the war against the Swarm wages on. Characters have changed and alliances have been altered as the Cog once again gains valuable classic members. Return to a planet in continual turmoil and the soldiers that continue to fight within. This is a showcase of visual design and multiplayer for the platform. It will push the consoles to the limit as the past releases have.
