Google Pixel 4a Canada Release Date, Pricing

The Google Pixel 4a release date is September 10, 2020 in Canada with pre-order options already being available. The price point is $479 with black being the only color option available. This is a 5.8” display which is 144mm by 69.4mm. It features a FHD+ (1080x2340) OLED at 443 ppi.

This has HDR support as well with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover glass. The battery is 3140mAh and it has 6GB of ram with 128GB of storage alongside unlimited storage for images through Google Photos. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with Android 10 as the operating system.

The camera is a really stand out with this offering with a 12.2MP dual-pixel real camera (ƒ/1.7). You get a 77 degree field of view and 1.4 μm pixel width. The front camera is an 8MP wide-angle (ƒ/2.0). It has an 84 degree field of view and a 1.12 μm pixel size. Other supporting camera features include the marvelous Night Sight; Top Shot, Portrait Mode, HDR+, Dual Exposure Controls, Motion Auto-Focus and a Super Res Zoom.

The camera options also offer some video details. The rear camera provides up to 4k 30fps, 1080p 120FPS and 720p 240FPS. The front camera provides up to 1080p 30FPS. Connection wise this is a USB Type-C enabled device with 18W charging. This is included in the box, along with a 1m USB Type-C to USB-C cable. Quick Start Guide, Quick Switch Adaptor and a SIM Tool.
