Google Stadia Typhoon Studios Purchase Won't Disrupt Journey to the Savage Planet Release

Google Stadia Games and Entertainment has announced the acquisition of Typhoon Studios, the independent developers behind the upcoming Journey to the Savage Planet. Despite the purchase, the studio will not be altering the production of the game, with it still set to arrive on all previously announced platforms.

This statement was provided from Google Canada, ”yes, Journey to savage planet is still set to release on all the formerly mentioned platforms.” That confirms the game will release as expected on January 28, 2020.

The company noted in their release that the priority on their end will be integrating the team into the now growing Stadia first party Google family. They join the first studio in Montreal that’s led by Sébastien Puel. This in general was noted by Jade Raymond, VP Stadia Games and Entertainment.
