HarmonQuest Season 3 Release Date & Guests

If you like roleplaying games and particularly this animated series, then you’ll be happy to hear that the HarmonQuest season 3 is releasing on August 18, 2019. It will be a VRV exclusive featuring ten episodes that appear every Sunday.

The majority of it is presented as an animated series, with portions showcasing the group playing it. It’s all filmed in front of a live audience with each episode capturing a certain element of their story. The typical main cast consists of Dan Harmon, Spencer Crittenden, Erin McGathy, and Jeff B. Davis.

The group is usually joined by a guest each episode and they work with them to create some hilarious scenarios. The special guests for this third season include Kate Miccuci, Reggie Watts, D’Arcy Carden, Tom Kenny, Carl Tart, Jared Logan, Jessica McKenna, Joel Kim Booster, Matt Gourley and Tawny Newsome. The general synopsis is that the world has been destroyed by the Demon Helling. To make it worst, Fondue is dead and his spirit is trapped within a sword.

It’s now up to the team a mysterious newcomer to find a way to undo the damage done. They will be seeking the “Beast of Beginning” to reset their paths, this will take them across time and space. There’s certainly a narrative at play as they interact and work through a challenging world created by the game master. The first two seasons are available on VRV in the meantime, including Expanded Universe episodes that build the series out further.
