Gaming on your Apple device is about to get way better with support for modern game input devices. That’s right, Xbox One and Playstation 4 controller support is coming through Bluetooth connections. With IOS 13 you’ll be able to easily sync your controllers of either platform and experience a proper control setup. This will be available for both iPhones and iPads. This will be a natively supported feature once the updated operating system is available on the devices as it’ll initially be available as a preview before a full launch.
The change to support these console based controllers is part of the gradually building stream era. Playstation is starting to have options for streaming the console experience to your phone while it runs. Xbox is providing xCloud where you’re able to play any of your Xbox library from everywhere. It’ll be optimal to use the controller within this setting and it’ll be appreciated by many gamers. Check out our review of the latest high end Apple produce or its hub below for additional coverage.
