Just Dance 2019 will support the Xbox One Kinect when it does release on October 23rd, 2018. The initial release information didn't confirm details of support for the motion controller instead doubling down on the elements of using a smartphone app as a way to interact with the game. I reached out to my local Ubisoft rep about this as I still use the device from time to time and was given this statement. "Yes, Just Dance 2019 will have Kinect support."
A thrilling bit of information for sure, but yes that confirms you'll be able to dance along normally if you've been using the device in the past to do so. You can of course use the app as well, that will have new advancements. The game will support over forty new tracks and more than four hundred Just Dance Unlimited tracks. Players will be able to experience this on Nintendo Switch, Wii U, Wii, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 platforms. The Just Dance World Cup will also return with its 5th annual competition, this time heading to Brazil for the Grand Finals in early 2019.
