Just Survive is Shutting Down

Just Survive is shutting down entirely according to their emailed newsletter. That's right, the entire experience is being taken down and won't be accessible for anyone. This was noted at the start of the email; "After much review and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue development on Just Survive." On Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 11 AM PT all services including servers will be closed.

The game is already no longer available on Steam with all in-game transactions and commerce having been disabled. This was a Steam Early Access title in development for a fair amount of time having a weird situation around its development. The game was originally H1Z1, then H1Z1: Just Survive and then the games were split. H1Z1 became a battle royale and this became Just Survive being an open world zombie survival game. It was somewhat like DayZ, but lost the hype that the title used to have. The lack of popularity made Daybreak give up development and now close it.
