The very long awaited main entry sequel is to be upgraded as the Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "available now" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since the previous titles from the group have been enhanced as they release. Furthermore, that Square Enix has been very supportive of enhancing their new releases. For now we have basic details as its "available now" with support for a 1440p resolution and no HDR support. With this release it's also unlikely to support VRR.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Kingdom Hearts 3 is the main entry in the franchise that fans have been waiting well over a decade for. The series is known for its magical elements combining the world of Disney into this quest for the special keyblades. The Keyblade War is possibly arriving, Sora and his friends will continue their search for seven guardians of light that are capable of standing against this coming darkness. For the first time, Pixar and other franchises owned by Disney will be available to explore as you engage in the new battle system. The Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One X enhanced releases on January 29, 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
