Out of nowhere the death of the franchise is upgraded as the Mass Effect Andromeda Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Available Now" for an enhancement and that is honestly just shocking as the game has been completely left alone. This was one improvement that we hadn't anticipated due to the response to the game. For now we have basic details as its "Available Now" with no mention of support for 4k resolution, but with HDR. With this release it's also unlikely to ever support VRR.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Mass Effect Andromeda was supposed to be the start of this generation's trilogy within the franchise. It was set far away from home, but with the same creatures you remember battling against a new threat. There were mysteries with a lost alien race, ways to customize the bases on planets you conquer and a rather short main story. It brought back staple aspects of the series from commanding a ship, to sleeping around with those within it. There were many problems at launch and the response generally ended this new trilogy before it even got going. The Mass Effect Andromeda Xbox One X enhanced released on November 6, 2018 on Xbox One platforms.
