The install size for Minecraft Dungeons has been revealed coming in at a rather tiny size at launch releasing on May 26, 2020 and taking up a total of 2.54 GB on the Xbox Marketplace and 2.69 GB on the Microsoft Store. It also takes 3.60 GB on the Nintendo Switch eShop store.
The game is also Xbox One X enhanced providing a 4k resolution with HDR support. On Windows 10 PC it also provides VRR support. Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawling take on the series. It features four player coop whether you’re playing online or locally. There’s no matchmaking, and cross-play is a feature planned for post-launch.
This is the first major spin-off for Minecraft, sending players off into epic dungeons. You’ll be trying to gather loot, battle various new exciting mobs and of course unleash various special abilities. This is all part of an epic quest to save the villagers and take down the evil Arch-Illager that has recently risen, taking over the land.
There will be swarms of mobs to take on, epic moments of action and the new perspective on many iconic Minecraft biomes. It’s got everything from canyons, to swamps and even mines which would be expected. You can check out more file sizes for recent game releases below.
