It looks like one of the hottest consoles is now cheaper with the Nintendo Switch price drop in Canada coming into effect Summer 2018. That's right, as of writing at the start of July, the console will now cost $379.99 instead of $399.99 and that appears to be a permanent reduction. The noted cost is in Canadian dollars, in case that wasn't clear. This should make the platform more affordable to get into, it's not a massive change yet still a great one to see.
This pricing change takes effect immediately at most Canadian retailers, including Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, London Drugs, Toys R Us, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Source and Amazon Canada. It's a great time to jump in with many classic WiiU games being ported and a number of stellar first party releases along with growing third party support from all of the major publishers. As mentioned, it's available at a cheaper price essentially everywhere just in time for all of those summer travels.
