PES Konami Next Gen Gaming Comment

While at the show one of the side inquiries I was making consistently was in regards to the next generation consoles. These updated systems are on the horizon for 2020 and it’s obviously something of interest to developers. One of the times I was able to chat directly with developers was during my Konami PES 2020 booking. I was able to play and then get one member of the team for questions while doing so. I asked about Xbox One X enhancements which this next release will have, and then about the consoles that are arriving in the future. What I was mostly told through various questions around this is that ”Konami is focused on this generation of consoles.” at this point.

It was also noted that they can’t comment on PES in regards to the next generation and noted Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC as the focused platforms. It was mentioned that they hear the feedback in regards to PES Nintendo Switch and are watching the market. Google Stadia is also not something they’re working on currently.
