Playstation 4 Game Sales Hit Over 1 Billion

While on the console has been selling well, it seems like the Playstation 4 is also pumping out software. SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) has announced game sale details. Worldwide 1,181 million games have been sold for PS4 consoles.

This is as of January 31, 2020. It was noted on January 7, 2020 with 1,150 million. It’s neat to compare this to the January 8, 2019 mark of 876 million. The full details from the corporate release are linked below though I’ll dive into further details.

These are figures based on SIE research. They do not include add-on contents, being the individual titles sold through retailers and the Playstation Store worldwide. The purpose of the provided charting details is to increase the accuracy of estimated figures used in previous announcements from the corporate element of Sony.
