The Pokemon Go Water Festival 2019 dates are August 23 to August 30 with both dates start and concluding at 1pm PST. It’s time to make a big splash, even if you don’t live near water. The features include the following additions to the game mobile title for Android or IOS platforms.
-Water-type Pokemon like Magikarp, Wooper, Wailmer and more will appear more frequently within the wild.
-The following Pokemon will be appearing more frequently around water. Wartortle, Poliwhirl, Seaking, Lapras, Qwilfish, Mantine, Lotad, Feebas, Piplip, Buizel and Finneon.
-Water-type Pokemon will hatch more often from eggs.
-Kingler and Crawdaunt will be able to learn Crabhammer, a water-type Charged Attack that will be newly available.
-If you manage to surf the waves of luck you may encounter a Shiny Carvanha or Shiny Barboach in your travels.
-Water-type Pokemon like Blastoise, Vaporeon, Lapras and more will appear in raids.
-On Wednesday, August 28 from 6pm to 7pm local time, you can encounter Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf in five star raids in their respective regions.
-2x Hatch Candy
-If you have a water-type Pokemon as your buddy, the distance to earn Buddy Candy will be halved.
