PUBG Xbox One Achievements Will Transfer to Launch

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds or "PUBG" for short is finally releasing from Xbox Game Preview on September 4, 2018. When games release from the early access program one of the additions is Xbox Achievements. This provides a list of Achievements that players can work towards unlocking that will grant Gamerscore, the standard score allotment for a title is 1000. I was curious if there were any details available in regards to what they might be or how progress from the preview time will be counted towards the full release. With that, I reached out to my Xbox rep to see if I could get any information.
PUBG Xbox One Screenshot For now, no details are available for what the various types of Achievements will be though I did learn that Achievements from Game Preview will transfer over to the 1.0 launch. You can see the full quoted details below as to the phrasing. Now, this seems like it suggests that progression from the time already played could retroactively unlock Xbox Achievements when players venture into the game in this main launch. It could also just suggest that everything we've worked towards will just be present in the final game. Whatever the case, it will be interesting to see how the final version of this massive battle royale title performs when it does release.
