The epic revamped return to classic horror is to be upgraded as the Resident Evil 2 Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "Available Now" for an enhancement and that isn't surprising since the previous titles from the group have been enhanced as they release. Furthermore, that Capcom has been very supportive of enhancing their new releases. For now we have basic details as its "Available Now" with support for a 4k resolution and HDR support. With this release it's also unlikely to support VRR.
The game will be enhanced right upon launch as opposed to post. For context, Resident Evil 2 remake brings back the classic style horror title you might remember but in a bold new way. The entire game has been overhauled for modern platforms bringing gorgeous visuals and numerous upgrades. It's that same atmospheric and tight story you remember, but one that looks and feels as though it released today. The characters you remember return, they're battling in the same plot and attempting to just survive the horrors of the city as everything falls apart. A deadly virus has appeared in Raccoon City in September of 1998, be ready to run from zombies and see the horrors just like the citizens are. The Resident Evil 2 Xbox One X enhanced releases on January 25, 2019 on Xbox One platforms.
