The Samsung Galaxy S20 release date is March 6, 2020 in Canada. This is the latest entry in the flagship phone line-up from the company. The models come in the colors depending on which type of model you opt for.
The base Galaxy S20 starts at $1319.99 with the options of Cosmic Grey and Cloud Blue. The Galaxy S20+ starts at $1579.99 with Cosmic Black and Cloud Blue. Finally the Galaxy S20 Ultra starts at $1849.99 in Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Black. The main feature for connectivity is the inclusion of support for 5G.
The two lower end models have a 64MP camera while the Ultra has a 108Mp camera. Another benefit is that the larger sensors take in more light, so you get a richer image quality in even the lowest of light situations. The two lower models will also support 30x zoom whereas the Ultra will have an insane 100x zoom.
The line-up can provide 8k video capture at 24fps with 4k at 60fps as well if you go lower. The screen design features a 120Hz for premium smooth gaming, and 12GB of Ram. The Galaxy S20 5G series comes with a 25W fast charger, while the S20 Ultra 5G supports 45W Super Fast charging as well.
The entire series is equipped with massive storage as standard (128GB for Galaxy S20 5G; 128GB, 256GB and 512GB for Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G). The battery ranges from 4000mAh in the base option, to 4500mAh and then 5000mAh. You can read our review of the previous model below, or the general hub for additional coverage.
