Shadow of the Tomb Raider Xbox One X Enhanced

Update: The game will feature two visual options which are the close to Rise of the Tomb Raider. Choose 4k 30fps or 1080 60fps. It looks as though the Shadow of the Tomb Raider Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game will also have full HDR support for realistic lights, HDR textures and global illumination energy conservation. This is topped off with Dolby Atmos to create real 3D audio immersion. It will be available September 14, 2018 bringing these visual options at launch. These details were confirmed from Microsoft and the publisher, this confirms the latest Tomb Raider from Square Enix will be getting touched up for the premium Xbox console. This release marks the end of Lara Croft's origin trilogy and it will take players to fresh locations. She will most likely face an emotional tale and a continued battle against Trinity.

If the Rise of the Tomb Raider enhancement is any indication of the possible future quality I expect there will be multiple modes and that stunning visuals will be present. That game offered the following visual options; native 4k, 4k dynamic (Enriched) and a high frame rate based on existing visuals (slight alterations). These tweaks came far after launch, but with that title being a first on Xbox Exclusive it made sense. This release will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC at once however. Whatever the case, we're looking forward to seeing what Lara is up to next as this has been one truly epic rebooted franchise thus far. Also, it's worth a note that a Tomb Raider movie based on this rebooted series released in early 2018.
