Shenmue 3 Xbox One Version Not Planned

Many fans have been debating, and looking for sources in regards to whether or not the legendary and long awaited Shenmue 3 would head to Xbox consoles. It would seem that it is most definitely with a definitive notion not happening. This is a response from the Official Deep Silver Twitter page, a note that ”There is no planned version of Shenmue III for Xbox One.”

You can of course read that tweet from the linked thread below. This will certainly disappoint fans considering the long history of the series, and those wanting to experience the game on the Xbox platform. It’s also rather odd considering the recent remasters being present on Xbox One, a release that many considered to be a primer for what was to come. Whatever the case, at least there’s a definitive acknowledgement about the game. The game will be releasing on Playstation 4 and PC on November 19, 2019.
